We educate and equip electrical professionals in the industry to promote electrical safety. Electrical inspectors, multi-hat inspectors, electrical installers and contractors, testing agencies, standards organizations, manufacturers, and distributors are all working together to ensure the public safety.It is our common goal to provide the best education in the electrical industry
OUR PURPOSE
Independent Alliance of the Electrical Industry (IAEI) is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit professional trade association committed to public safety from electrical hazards by providing expert, unbiased leadership in electrical code and standards development and premier education and certification for electrical professionals.
HISTORY
Since 1928, IAEI has brought unbiased focus to interpreting electrical codes, teaching safe installation & use of electricity. Originally only electrical inspectors were members in the IAEI. We quickly learned the necessity of including other persons or groups who wished to focus on electrical safety.
